My past is a foreign country
Graphic identity and exhibition catalogue design for DEO, a contemporary art program held annually on the island of Chios. In 2023 the theme of the program was “My past is a foreign country”. As the main exhibitions were held in the historical Ottoman baths and temenos of the island, the graphic identity was inspired by the baths’ domed roof as well as the abstract shapes of steam or smoke, referencing relaxation, spirituality and/or disaster.
